Early Childhood

Inquiry and Exploration

Early childhood is the ideal time to introduce foreign languages. Children are able to express curiosity without inhibitions or anxiety.  and are thus able to acquire language more efficiently than most adults.

Educating Global Citizens

Appreciation for diversity is one of the most valuable qualities for global citizens. It is easy to fear the unknown, but necessary to embrace it in a globalized world. Exposure to other languages and cultures at an early age encourages a natural acceptance of and curiosity about difference.

Opportunities For Bonding and Sharing

Parents are invited to join their children in foreign-language instruction through story and play. Exploring new things together provides opportunities for bonding and growth.

Building Integrated Comprehension

Foreign language instruction can create new neural pathways and build stronger analytical thinking. Second language speakers routinely integrate sensory information. They are able to listen, observe, and interact in both languages and thus  improve their auditory comprehension, visual acuity, and kinesthetic abilities. These skills are transferable to all learning contexts.
